Fern and my brothers spaceships

I'm creating a drawing a day, just for the art of it.
Today's is fern. I have also shared the spaceships my brother was drawing this evening. I'm influenced by many famous artists, Cezanne, Rodin, Klimt and Alastair Grey to name a few, but I have been and am much more influenced by the artists in my family. My mum, dad and big brother have been around me creating art my whole life, taking shape in front of my eyes - with every step of the presses on show. They have also always been willing to break it down for me if I still couldn't work out what they had done. Thank you all three. #drawingadayclub

Poppy

I'm creating a drawing a, just for the art of it.
Today's is a poppy. I've done two textile designs today and felt I'd had enough of painting but I got into this once I started. So often the case. #drawingadayclub

Today's is a fanciful version of a strange plant at my mum's house.
