Landscape with white line
I'm creating a drawing a day, for two years, just for the art of it.
What other things last two years?
Today's is a landscape.
Where does it look like to you?

Fading seahorses
I'm creating a drawing a day, just for the art of it, and sharing an art tip too.
Today's drawing is: fading seahorses. My daughter ( who is interested in conservation) tells me that if men keep fishing them at current rates they will all be gone in 20 years, she is 8, so if we give her 10 years to grow up she will have 10 years to save them, I hope they get some help before then.
Art tip: Care. It hurts but it's worth it. About your art, about your message. Indifference is not self defense, it's self anaesthetic.
If you go back to the derivations aesthetic and anaesthetic are opposites.

Tulips with pencil and nerd paint
I'm creating a drawing a day, just for the art of it.
Today's is tulips with pencil and nerd paints. Actually yesterday's as I missed a day. What are nerd paints? Paints made by games workshop for painting little miniature elves and such. They are made to very high specifications!

Blue grey water
Today I paddled in the place where blue meets grey, and skimmed stones across to gold! #drawingadayclub

Poppy
I'm creating a drawing a, just for the art of it.
Today's is a poppy. I've done two textile designs today and felt I'd had enough of painting but I got into this once I started. So often the case. #drawingadayclub

Confession of a cheating scoundrel!
I'm creating a drawing a day, just for the art of it.
I started on the 16th of January 2016 after seeing Dominic Roberts doing it and filled some days backwards to get the year full. I had no idea why I was doing it beyond it sounded fun.
Now I have very clear ideas what it does. It helps me by teaching me dicapline and practice and I get some creative time each day which keeps the rubbish out of my head a bit. For my friends, it shares a bit of beauty and some of my ideas, it's communication.
Sometimes I put a filter on a pic that makes it look better, sometimes I miss one and do it the next day, sometimes I use other art I was doing anyway but yesterday was the first time I really cheated! I found a drawing form 2016 I had never shared and as I was sick but didn't want to draw twice I shared it! There, I'm clean now!
Here is the drawing I owe from yesterday.
