I'm creating a drawing a day, for two years, just for the art of it.
Today's is a koala.

Sorrento, Australia
I'm creating a drawing a day, just for the art of it. Today's is Sorrento Back beach (the surf beach side) if I win the lottery I'm going straight back here! #drawingadayclub #kirsteenlyonsartThis is Sorrento in the mornington peninsula, Melbourne. Near Jasmine's grand parents house. It has two beaches. A sheltered beach bay side, and a surf beach on the side of the sea. The town is full of surf shops and tamed windswept people who call their flip flops "thongs".

Great ocean road
I'm creating a drawing a day, just for the art of it.
Today's is the great ocean road, Victoria, Australia.
I've drawn a lot of beautiful places I've been but this one is on my wish list. I've been to Melbourne and Sydney but didn't have time to do this. Where is on your wish list and why? #drawingadayclub

Mother's beach, Mornington, Melbourne, Australia
I'm creating a drawing a day for a year, just for the art of it.
Today's is mother's beach (so called because it is sheltered, and slopes out very gently). The little town of Mornington is Victorian, Australian style, so it looks like an American old west town, painted in Brighton beach hut colours! We found many many starfish. Jasmine and I love this spot.
