Frog

I'm creating a drawing a day, just for the art of it.
When is the last time you looked at a frog for 30 minutes? Have you ever? One of the wonderful things about drawing is I just spent 30 minutes looking at a frog! I always knew they were awesome but I haven't admired one that carefully since I was 10! And I had forgotten how awesome they are.

Day 400 and 30,000 views! Butterflies

I'm creating a drawing a day, just for the art of it. Today is day 400 and amazingly also the day this blog reached 30,000 views, coincidence.

I have done lots of kids art today, art with my daughter and her friends. My day was: park, art, Lego, pizza, art, Tax return!

I squeezed this in (with my daughter's felt tips) while looking after three big girls and the baby. :)

Tree

I'm creating a drawing a day, just for the art of it.
Today's is a tree. I have been designing textiles again today, with every spare minute, and was completely without inspiration, but my brother said "do a tree" and I find I quite like it.

Taking the studio to bits and putting your socks in the bin!

I'm creating a drawing a day, just for the art of it.
Today's is several 20 second sketches of my son, taking my studio to bits and getting his socks off so he could bin them! He has also grabbed the pencil a few times and added to my drawing. #drawingadayclub
