Today's is some flowers that spilled over the fence from next door's garden.
Today's tip: I'm not so perfect, I'm giving out advice, that sometimes works for me, in the spirit of help to others. It doesn't mean I always keep to everything I say, don't beat yourself up if you don't either. 😄

Blossom and Ratatouille!
I'm creating a drawing a day, just for the art of it and sharing an art tip too.
Today's drawing is some cherry blossom. #drawingadayclub
For today's tip I offer this quote from the film Ratatouille:
"In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face is that, in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is more meaningful than our criticism designating it so."

River landscape with directional pencil lines.
I'm creating a drawing a day for a year, just for the art of it.
Today's is a landscape where I have been careful to keep the pencil lines all going one way and then broken my rule on top.

I'm creating a drawing a day for a year, because two kids and a freelance design business was not using up enough of the day!

Carnival makeup design
I'm creating a drawing a day for a year, I never said they would all be serious!
Today's is a carnival makeup design. I used to be a face painter, and I'm still drawn to it. I've included a few face painting pictures for the interested. :)

Rose, peach.
I'm creating a drawing a day for a year, just for the art of it.
Today's is a rose.
I realise I wouldn't draw on many days if I hadn't said I would. Days it's too late, days I feel sick, days that I'm away... Without the dicapline of EVERY day, I expect I would draw once a month.

Fairy generating magic.
I'm creating a drawing a day for a year, just for the art of it.
I'm, more or less, half way through!
Today's is a fairy generating magic! Please feel free to comment what the magic might be.

Water lilies and gold fish.
I'm creating a drawing a day for a year, just for the art of it.
Today's is water lilies and goldfish.
No need to get too hung up on "the colours things are" look closely and they are often not the colours we traditionally associate with them. Look out for a brown tree trunk and you soon realise that they are usually grey, green black or silver in various combinations.
Here are water lilies that are not green, water that is not blue and goldfish that are not orange (I admit that one is artistic licence as they sure are orange!) I hope you like it.
